The Examination of the Newborn Baby
The purpose of this title is to enable the doctor, the medical student and the nurse to examine the newborn baby thoroughly and confidently. In addition to the history taking, examination techniques and normal findings, a great variety of abnormal findings are also discussed and illustrated. The importance of a thorough history taking is emphasised and the general principles that apply to the examination of the newborn baby are explained.
