The Red Skedonk
Robbie, the narrator, tells the story of his family's old car, which they call the red skedonk, and a journey the family took to Plettenberg Bay in it. The story is told in the first person, and the descriptions of the car and the family, aside from being very funny, reveal a lot about the family members, and how Robbie feels about them.
