Afrikaans methodology through new glasses can be used for African language teaching through all the phases. The book is aimed at teaching students and is also a practical guide to assist in-service teachers in the classroom. The first section provides a theoretical and practical basis for the rest of the book, thus making the Afrikaans teacher aware of the challenges posed to him or her. In this way the language teacher is not only equipped with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills.
