Natal Technikon, In — house Lecturing, She lectured a variety of subjects, but her focus was Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. She was Chairman of the Financial Accounting Subject Committee and lectured Financial Accounting 3 and Management Accounting 3.

KPMG, Cathy did her 4-years articles with KPMG (studying her entire degree and honours on a distance basis through UNISA) after which she spent an extra year as a Senior Accountant. It was during this time that she tried her hand at in-house lecturing.
