The Politics of Language in South Africa; The - policy and practice (e-book) presents a curated anthology of scholarly papers from a specialized colloquium organized by guest editor Vic Webb. These proceedings emerged from the joint annual conference of the Southern African Applied Linguistics Association and the Linguistics Society of Southern Africa, convened at Dikhololo (July 6-8, 2005) under the auspices of the University of Pretoria.
